Nepali Pendant with Deep Blue Labradorite

Country of Origin: Nepal. Rectangular beautiful deep blue labradorite stone with linear striations; resembles a forest at night. Contains cinnamon metallic highlights. Set in weighty sterling silver with detailed scrollwork. The shimmer in labradorite is known as labradorescence. Nepali artisans are renowned for their metal smithing and for their skills in cutting and polishing stones. Dimensions of pendant: Length 1 5/8 inches (4 cm) x width 1 1/4 inch (3 1/2 cm). Chain is silver plate and contains less than .05 nickel and is considered hypoallergenic; length 24 inches (54 1/2 cm).
